150 Years Ago today

Con­fed­er­ate troops marched into Fred­er­ick today, few cel­e­brated their arrival. One lady remarked that she could smell them com­ing before she could see them.
Gen. McClel­lan began push­ing troops west­ward to Rockville in order to block any attacks on the capital.
