I was thrilled today when I read in the latest Civil War Monitor that Vol. II of the Carman manuscript was given Honorable mention by Dr. Ethan Rafuse, US Army Command & General Staff College Professor, in the Best Books of 2012 column. Very thrilled about this.

Volume TWO is available!
Maryland Campaign Vol 2 Volume Two of Ezra Carman’s manuscript has finally arrived! Find it on Amazon, Barnes & Noble or the WMIA Museum Store at Antietam. By far the most complete work available on the battle, and includes photos from the era Carman was working, and also his maps to illustrate the battle action.
